We're a team of four passionate gamers based in Sweden, who are excited to bring the future of gaming closer with next-gen tech. Our company operates mostly through remote work, but we occasionally meet up in person, where we tend to end up consuming unhealthy amounts of pizza. Each of us possesses a diverse range of skills and we're always eager to research, develop, and learn more. We have a particular expertise in embedded systems, ECAD, 6 DoF tracking, CAD, and VR.
FAQ
StonX will be going B2B (business to business) for the forseeable future. This means we will be providing R&D as a service for other companies in our case. We begin this new shift in the company by selling the StonX CBT tracking system.
While consumer product are way less economically viable than B2B, we ultimately want to be in the consumer XR market, but currently our financials does not allow this. As for when and if we'll get back to consumer products, we don't know, but it's on our bucket list.
We're selling StonX CBT and its technologies in the purpose of generating liquidity for the company. We've worked on this project for almost 3 years without any financial gains and we need return on investment. A company needs money to survive and this is our best option.
As the Indiegogo campaign didn't reach its goal we receive none of the money and everything gets refunded. It's structured this was as the goal is the minimum liquidity needed to get the production off the ground.
We plan on still manufacturing and selling the StonX Programming socks as merch for the company to commemorate the StonX CBT project. It's been quite the few years all just starting from an innocent school project.
